So, I knitted a pair of baby socks. What do you think?|
They don't match exactly -- they're more fraternal than identical. Think I should knit a third sock that matches a bit better or do you like the lack of exact symmetry?
OMGcute. And I think lacking exact symmetry will be fine. They're close. :)
They're adorable, and I like fraternal twin socks. But kids like to lose socks, so fraternal triplets wouldn't be a bad idea as a gift.
That's a very good point.

I didn't realize that they weren't a perfect match until you pointed it out. I think they are cute!

They are cute. I don't mind the lack of symmetry. I didn't notice it until I tried to figure out why they aren't identical.
The lack of symmetry rocks. So cute!

Like Una, I didn't even notice until you mentioned it
I don't think the child will care--I wouldn't, even now
I like the pattern a lot

I'd echo what everyone else said :)
If you do care about it in future, I'd just suggest making sure you start the second sock at the exact same place in the repeat. That way they should be pretty darn close, aside from your gauge being off.
