Well, I can
agree with the first three words Judith Griggs wrote.
It's sad, really.
What she fails to mention in her entire diatribe of how tired and overworked she was, and how mean you were, was that it's not just that she "went to the www and 'found something' " and intended to contact you to negotiate compensation afterward. She leaves out that you never even knew, and would never have known had someone not congratulated you on this new writing gig.
And she has the chutzpah to write this trash about how unreasonable you
are?? To imply that somehow the crashing and burning of her little (il)literary empire is your
fault?? That your assertion of your rights was unreasonable? Here's an idea: don't steal someone else's stuff
I propose a new word: "Griggsplain". For its definition, I cannot improve on the example currently being hosted on Cook's Source's website.
